Town Founder Tofigh Shirazi has spent more than a decade pursuing the dream of Beachtown. He has assembled a team of town planners, architects, landscape architects and others who bring years of expertise in Traditional Neighborhood Development - a philosophy creating walkable, human-scaled neighborhoods that encourage true community. Town Planner Duany Plater-Zyberk and Co. has been helping to create TNDs since 1980, when it won international acclaim for Seaside, Fla, the first authentic new town to be built successfully in the United States in more than 50 years.
