From All Over, Texas is Great!
Beachtown is
home or the future home for many people from
all over the country, from California to New
York. One of our residents has a part-time home
at the North Pole. Coming from Virginia, he and
his family have truly adopted Beachtown and Texas
as their home and are telling the world “Don’t
mess with Texas”.
New Designs & New Construction
Architects
are busy designing new homes for property owners
in Beachtown. Michael Imber was selected to design a large beachfront
home for David & Barbara.
In addition, Bud Lawrence, a new Urban Guild Architect from Fort Meyers,
Florida, is designing a beautiful home for Tung & Cecilia; both
homes will be located in Village One. Christine
Franck, the award winning New York architect, is designing breathtaking
Victorian beachfront
homes in East Village.
New construction continues in Beachtown. Mike & Myra
are excited to have received their permits and
start the construction of their home designed
by celebrated architect Milosav Cekic. This house
will be located next to the large dune walk-over,
to become a landmark, in Village One. Also, John
and Jaymie are anxiously awaiting their permits
to start construction of their new beachfront
home in East Village.
New Move-Ins
New
residents continue moving into Beachtown. Beachtown
welcomes Mike & Carol
to their beachfront home in East Village. Beachtown also welcomes Vic & Jenni,
whose carriage house behind their principle home brings another new lifestyle
to Beachtown in Village One. Rich & Laura from Dix Hills, New York
are moving into their new home, built by Steve Paparcuiri of Gulf Coast
Homes, in Village One.
Townhomes
The
Positano Townhomes, designed by Eric Brown of South Carolina are completed.
The townhomes include private porches which overlook both the ocean
and nature preserve. In addition, the townhomes are in close walking
distance to the dune walk-over and the Town Center Building. Each unit
features individual elevators and charming coastal characteristics you
come to expect in Beachtown.
Homes in East Village
Rivaling the Coastal Living Idea House in Beachtown, several beachfront
homes in East Village are completed and ready for tours. These residences
feature remarkable architectural details throughout the exterior and
interior of the homes which are unparalleled on the Texas Gulf Coast.
Some of these residences include in-ground swimming pools with breathtaking
views of the Gulf. It is the only place on the island where in-ground
swimming pools are currently allowed on the beach. Because Beachtown
sits along the only accreting beach on the island, swimming pools are
permitted so long as they are positioned several hundred feet from the
low mean tide line.
Mardi Gras
Mardi Gras is a tradition at Beachtown. Beachtown’s unique Mardi
Gras float will once again be in the Knights of
Momus Parade. Beachtown expects to have a great crowd celebrating Mardi
Gras with festivities
at Beachtown and in the parade.
