Town Center Buildings Nearing Construction
The permitting process for construction
of the Town Center buildings is underway and groundbreaking is not far away.
These mixed-use buildings will combine retail shops and lofts. Prospective owners
can look over the loft plans at the Beachtown Sales Office & Information
Center and put their names on the list for reservations. Lofts will have two
bedrooms/two and a half baths or three bedrooms/three and a half baths, and will
range from 1376 to 2215 square feet.
Beachtown Makes the Rounds in Galveston and Dallas
In conjunction with the annual Mardi Gras! Galveston festivities
in February, Beachtown hosted a Mardi Gras party that
began with cocktails amidst a sunset on the grounds of
Beachtown. Next guests were taken in a private bus to
the bustling Strand District for prime viewing of the
celebrated Momus Grand Night Parade, which included the
debut of Beachtown's first Mardi Gras float. At the end
of March, PaperCity magazine and Beachtown hosted a party
for future homeowners at Grotto Ristorante, a chic, new
eatery in Dallas. Tofigh Shirazi, Town Founder of Beachtown, unveiled future plans and a contingent of Dallas families
are planning to make Galveston their new second home.
Introducing Townhomes Designed by Eric Brown
Celebrated architect
Eric Brown has designed the Townhomes at Positano Road, to be built in Village
One, Section One. Plans are available for viewing at the Sales Office & Information
Center. Ranging from 1885 to 2063 square feet, the townhomes feature two bedrooms/
two and a half baths or three bedrooms/ three and a half baths. Interested buyers
can place a reservation for the townhome plan they prefer.

Master Architect Designing "Green" House for Beachtown
Steve Mouzon, a Florida-based architect nationally renown
for his trailblazing work on TND (traditional neighborhood design) communities,
is designing a unique "green" home for Beachtown. The home, to be built
on a lovely lagoon site, will meet LEEDÒ standards for green homes - designated
criteria for the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Rating System
established in 1999 by the United States Green Building Council.
Beach Club Design Candidates Meet Developer
The Town Founder is currently meeting with several
world renowned architects in order to decide who will design the Beach Club.
The ideal Beach Club plan will blend with the traditional design concept of
Beachtown, while also providing an inviting gathering place for residents. The
Beach Club promises to be an architectural landmark on the Beachtown horizon.
Bocce or Horseshoes, Anyone?
Now leisure days at Beachtown can include a game of bocce ball or horseshoes,
with the completion of the bocce court and the horseshoe pit located along
the Passage. The setting is ideal, with serene views and a gentle sea breeze.
Perfect for a family game or a friendly rivalry with neighbors, bocce and
horseshoes will easily become a Beachtown tradition.
